Her interest in controersy has led her to write about a very unique ex-president of Peru, alberto Fujimari, followed by an exposé about the Aum Shinrikyo sect responsible fo the sarin gas attack in a Tokyo subway in 1995.

Other works include the very touching story of Okichi Saito, the persecuted concubine of the first American Consul of Japan.

Ms. Kimura's works have been translated into a growing number of languages including Korean. Thai, Hindi, Marathi, Dutch, German, English and Spanish.

She currently lives in Tokyo, Japan from where she continue to write about unique people and events.
